Acknowledgements

Since my japanese knowledge is virtually zero, I must give credit to Paul Acevedo, AKA EastX, from our sister site xboxachievements.com, for providing a rough translation of the trophies. Some of the translations eventually were proven wrong, especially some of the Quests, but it was a great starting point. You can see EastX's original thread here:

I have to thank SpiralSage, synkro, baadaa15 among other users from GameFAQs for ther unvaluable contribution to some of the trophies, especially the Quest-related trophies. You can see their translations here:

Intro

Onechanbara Z: Kagura with NoNoNo! is the newest entry in the Onechanbara series. It's an improved version of Onechanbara Z: Kagura that was released for XBOX360 in 2012. The PS3 brings (supposedly) improved graphics and a new playable character, NoNoNo.

The game is an action hack and slash, and you control the two sisters, Kagura and Saaya, against an army of zombies, robots and other monsters.

There's also the Aya and Saki DLC, where you control the two original sisters from previous games in the series.

As a bonus for the PS3 version, you can play as NoNoNo, who is a character from the Paradise C Club series, also from D3.

Roadmap

Most of the trophies can be separated in Story Related, Quest Related and Mission Related. You probably gonna have to play trough the main Story Mode and Mission Mode a lot of times, so you can begin your quest for the platinum pretty much in any way you want.

1st - Finish the Story Mode on Casual or Medium

I would recommend you start playing the Story Mode all the way trough the end on CASUAL or MEDIUM the first time. That way you'll get to know the game and its combat mechanics. You'll also acquire Yellow Orbs that allow you to buy upgrades for the main characters. You don't have to focus that much on trophies the first time; just enjoy the game.

Don't forget to keep buying upgrades between chapters. Eventually you'll have more than enough money to buy all of them, so don't worry that much about the order or what upgrades you are buying (the names are all in Japanese, so it's hard to know what you are buying anyway).

Also, don't forget to use all the items you acquire, especially the Chaos Gems. You can increase your health bar permanently by using this item, but you can only hold up to 9 gems at a time, so use them as soon as possible and don't forget that the gems only increase the health bar for the selected character, so you'll have to use them for each character separately.

2nd - Finish Story Mode on HARD and/or complete the Missions while trying to advance as many Quests as possible

After finishing the game for the first time, it's up to you if you want to finish the game on HARD or try to complete the missions. Either way, it's time to take a look at the Quests and play through the Story/Missions keeping the Quests' requirements in mind. See the descriptions for the trophies for more detail.

Don't forget to equip the rings for the girls; they can give you the advantage you need to advance in the higher difficulties, especially the Yellow Ring, which makes the COOL Combos that much easy to do.

3rd - Finish Story Mode on Violent and Berserk difficulties, complete the Quests and Cleanup

Now it's time to finish Story Mode on the last two difficulties, get a V Rank on all the Missions while keeping an eye on the remaining Quests and any miscellaneous trophies you're still missing.

About the Quests

There are 25 Quests in the game. Unfortunately, we don't know the exact amount of each task you have to perform. You can follow your progress on the main menu; there you can see a progress bar for each Quest and those bars are divided in three parts. Every time you fill the first, the second and the third, you get an accessory as a reward. Some Quests take longer than others, and some have specific conditions to be met for your progress to be recorded. Refer to each Quest's trophy description for details.

Most of the Quests you will complete just by playing the game and only a few you'll have to actively try to complete. By far the longest Quest is number 17, collecting Yellow Orbs.
